The Peters Creek Historical Society welcomes Mr. Clay Kilgore as their guest speaker on Monday, October 23, 7 p.m., Wrights United Methodist Church 788,Venetia Road, Venetia.

Mr. Kilgore is the executive director of the Washington County Historical Society and overseer of the Leymone House, the Washington County Frontier History Center, and the David Bradford House.

As overseer, he is responsible for the management, planning of activities and events as well as maintaining collections of all sites. His duties include outreach and educational programs throughout local schools and historical societies.
The topic for discussion will be "Stories About The Underground Railroad" in Washington County. Refreshments will be served and the public welcomed.
