Members of the Mon Valley Quilt Club will speak on all aspects of the art of quilting on Monday, August 21 at 7 p.m. in Riverside Place, Charleroi.
Quilting has evolved over many generations, and everyone who attends - the young novice to the seasoned quilter (men and women) will certainly gain from this experience.
Also, everyone is encouraged to bring that family heirloom quilt that has been passed on from generation to generation, or that favorite one you or someone else has made, or the current project being worked on. This could be like a mini quilt Show in itself!
The presenters will also be providing information about the upcoming Mon Valley Quilt Club's September show, hosted by them at the Mon Valley YMCA.
To attend, look for directional signs at 5th and McKean Aves in Charleroi - cross the railroad tracks into Chamber plaza, turn left at the stop sign, and a "Welcome " banner is on the canopy/entrance to Riverside Place.
Light refreshments are served at all programs and a small donation is requested to help cover the room reservation. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend. For information about CAHS, Inc. or membership, please call 724-483-4961.
