Monongahela Valley Hospital (MVH) and its affiliated companies collaborate each year with the Boy Scouts of America Laurel Highlands Council to collect donations of non-perishable goods for area food pantries.
This year, MVH and affiliates contributed a donation of 12,135 units to the campaign, a 13 percent increase from last year. The donated goods are counted using a unit system that encourages nutritious donations.
Departments and services that collected the most were The Center for Fitness and Health; Administration and Executive Offices; Fiscal, Information Systems and Corporate Accounting.
