The Brownsville-area youth fishing rodeo will be held on June 10 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Patsy Hillman Park, 100 Hillman Park Dr., Luzerne Township.
Registration for the free event begins at 8 a.m. for youths from 6 years old to 15 years old. Prizes will be awarded. Participants must be accompanied by an adult/guardian and provide their own equipment. Sponsored by the Greater Brownsville Area Chamber of Commerce, the fishing contest will be followed by a cookout featuring hot dogs, drinks and snacks.
