Family Hospice and Palliative Care celebrates three decades of golf to raise funds for patients and their caregivers at the 30th anniversary golf benefit on May 22 at the Valley Brook Country Club, McMurray, PA.

It will be attended by several Pittsburgh Pirates alumni, including Steve Blass, and former Pittsburgh Steeler and emcee Judge Dwayne Woodruff.
All competitors have a chance at winning various tests of skill, including a hole-in-one for $50,000 sponsored by USA Compression and skill prizes for the best score, longest drive, longest putt and closest to the pin.
Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. A silent auction begins at 4 p.m. and includes condominium stays at Hilton Head, SC; Fallingwater/Ohiopyle, PA and Snowshoe, WV. The silent auction will also include autographed memorabilia and tickets to sporting and cultural events and more. Beginning at 4:30 p.m., the awards dinner will feature Judge Dwayne Woodruff as emcee. Non-golfers are also welcome to attend the dinner and silent auction and can purchase tickets individually.

All monies raised from the golf benefit are kept in your local community and help to provide charitable care to seriously-ill persons who are hospice eligible but do not have insurance and fall within federal poverty guidelines. Funds also go toward bereavement resources for patients and families. Family Hospice invites members of the community to participate in support of local families.
