Teachers, schools, and administrators are faced with kids who come into the classroom with unmet needs on a daily basis. These unmet needs, whether they are physical or emotional, have a direct impact on a child’s ability to reach his or her potential.

BagPB

As part of the Belle Vernon and Rostraver communities, Gospel Alliance Church wants to get involved and help the kids in our local school district reach their highest potential. More than 50% of the kids receive free or reduced lunch. For some of these children, this is all the food that they eat in a day. What do they do on the weekends? Sometimes they don't eat at all, so the Bag Brigade is here to help!

On Fridays, the children will receive a bag filled with nutritious food for them to take home. They will return the bags on Mondays so that they may be filled up again for the next Friday.

We are so excited to begin this project and hope that you can help in any way possible, whether it’s by donation of money, items, or time.
