CASA for Kids, Inc. and Mosites Construction have launched a county-wide child abuse awareness campaign.
Public awareness is part of an overall approach to preventing child abuse and neglect. We will not only provide awareness and informational resources, but will incorporate our theme of “giving children a forever home” with the kickoff of our inaugural Showcase of Playhouses.
Local builders have constructed uniquely designed playhouses to be raffled off to the general public. Children will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite house April 24-27.
The event will be held at the Washington Crown Center. Event day is April 30 from noon - 3 p.m. with drawings at 3 p.m. Must be present to win.
