A Volunteer Work Day is planned for Saturday, March 11, 2017. We welcome church groups, community organizations, and/or individuals who would like to help complete our Mission houses. No experience is necessary. Lunch is served for the workers. Please call at least two days ahead so we know the amount of lunch to prepare.

The Mission now has a handicap ramp and two new front doors, compliments of Honeywell and “Pittsburgh Gives.” This work was badly needed and we are grateful to Honeywell and “Building Pittsburgh” for the grant and workers.

If you have any large print Bibles and/or books that you would like to donate to our book store, they would be greatly appreciated. Our hours of business are Tuesday-Saturday between the hours of 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The desk clerk will be happy to receive them and give you a donation slip upon request.

Visit our book store. Books are for sale or if you need some quiet time, come in and have a cup of fresh coffee and relax while you browse. This is all part of the mission. We are available to visit with you, pray with you or just offer a friendly smile.

The resale store is in need of the following: Store Manager – paid position; Volunteers for store clerk/cashier, 10 a.m. -2 p.m., 2-5 p.m. Volunteers are needed to: organize craft classes on Mondays at 6 p.m.; teach a craft class Mondays at Mantle 6 p.m.; occasionally help with store or events; provide construction help.

If you are interested in any or all of these, please email: mantlehousemission@yahoo.com or call Marci at 724-872-7119. If you have talent in any area and would like to share your talent, we would be most happy to have you.

Mantle House Mission Resale Store is located at 132 S. Water St in West Newton.
