The Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA annnounces the following events.

Stalking Awareness Month

January is Stalking Awareness Month. Stalking is a dangerous crime that affected 6.6 million adults in the United States in one year.  If you would like more information on stalking or domestic violence, Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA provides training for groups or businesses. We will tailor our program to fit your needs. Services Are Provided For Domestic Violence Victims

The New Year is a time of change and new beginnings. If you are a victim of domestic violence and are in need of assistance, Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA can help. We offer safe shelter and support services that are free and confidential. Empowerment Counseling

It doesn’t matter if you are in an abusive relationship or have already left one; Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA’s empowerment counseling can help you.  Our individual empowerment counseling provides one-on-one counseling, information, referrals, and advocacy (general and legal).  For more information or to set up an appointment, please call 724-223-9190 or 1-800-791-4000.

Weekly Support Group

Are you in an unhealthy relationship?  Do you need to talk to someone about it? Painting for a Purpose

Canonsburg BPW is hosting a Painting for a Purpose to benefit their scholarship fund.  Every year a scholarship is awarded to a woman who is participating in the Fresh Start program of Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA.  This event is being held on January 15, 2017 at Painting With a Twist in Washington, PA.  To register, go to www.paintingwithatwist.com/washington-pa, click on view full calendar and navigate to January 15, 2017.  For more information, call Jill at 724-747-4418.

Seeking Volunteers
