The Southwestern Pennsylvania Registered Nurses Club held their 24th Veterans Day Memorial Service at the South Park Nursing War Memorials on Corrigan Drive. Sue Means, Allegheny County Council, Districts read the names of 14 club members who served in the Military Forces and those who served as Cadets.

Many were unable to attend due to illness but will receive their certificates. Present to receive their certificates from Sue were Lois Green and Aileen Lyons, both who served in the U.S Naval Nurses Corps.
