The Peters Creek Historical Society extends a holiday invitation to the public for its holiday ‘Soup and Stroll,’ an annual Christmas open house at the Historic Enoch Wright House, Museum Of Westward Expansion on Venetia Road, Venetia, PA.

The event will take place on Sunday, December 4 from noon to 4 p.m.

Enjoy a hearty meal of homemade soup, bread and dessert in the warmth and ambiance of 19th century charm. Stroll through the house to visit Father Christmas and the mining room and meander outdoors to see the 18th century log cabin featuring historic re-enactors of the period

Cost: adults - $8; children nine and under - $5. Tickets may be purchased at the door. For more information, call 724-746-3203.
