Bethesda United Presbyterian Church of Elizabeth Borough is holding their annual advance ordering of their apple dumpling sale.
Over the years, the sweet dessert has grown to be a favorite fall time treat for local communities. The apple dumplings are $3.75 each and may be picked up at the church on Saturday, October 29 from noon until 3 p.m. Orders must be received by Sunday, October 23.
The apple dumplings may be ordered “baked” or “frozen.” Please call 412-384-9616 to order. If you get the answering machine please leave your name, phone number, and number and type of apple dumplings requested. Calls will be promptly returned. Orders can also be dropped off at the church. If there is no answer, leave your order in the white mailbox on the porch. Orders can be paid on the day of pick-up or in advance when ordering. Make checks payable to Bethesda Board of Deacons.
Bethesda United Presbyterian Church is located at 341 South Third Street, Elizabeth Borough at the bottom of the Rt. 51 North off-ramp and across from Dollar General.
