Kennywood tickets are now on sale for Monongahela’s Community Day. Tickets can be purchased at the following six locations: Charleroi Federal Savings; Cox IGA Market; Finleyville Giant Eagle; Fisher Heights Giant Eagle; Just 4 You Gifts; and The Monongahela Area Chamber of Commerce.
Tickets will remain on sale until the afternoon of August 3, the day of the picnic.
Tickets are sold by cash only and are valid any other weekday the entire month of August at no additional cost. A Fun Day pass costs $28. A Senior Fun Day pass (55+ includes all rides) is $18. Children two years of age and under are admitted to the park FREE.
Due to low ridership in preceding years, there will be no buses provided for transportation to and from the park. The park opens at 10:30 a.m. and normally closes at 11 p.m. Closing time may vary due to weather conditions and number of people in the park.
