Thomas Jefferson High School senior Jake Dobransky was reently awarded the 2015-2016 Most Positive Volleyball Athlete in Western PA.

Jake was recognized at an awards ceremony at the Heinz History Center in June. The Positive Athlete Pittsburgh Program recognizes the most positive athletes in every high school sport from all across Western Pennsylvania. Positive Athlete Pittsburgh, led by former Steelers great Hines Ward, is a movement by high-character athletes in Western Pennsylvania to promote the benefits of “positivity” to young athletes.
