Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Koontz of Monessen recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a picnic at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Mark Chasko of Gastonville.

The event was an afternoon through evening affair with relatives and friends dropping by to offer congratulations and enjoying a buffet of food that had quite a few contributors. Many stories of events were told and retold throughout the afternoon and evening that highlighted 50 years of a successful marriage. Congratulations once again to Karen and Tim Koontz.
