Area native, Katie Seibert recently competed at the Baton Twirling Nationals at Notre Dame University.

Katie who is the Feature Twirler for Alderson Broaddus University in West Virginia competed for the first time in the college division. She placed 1st runner up out of 41 participants in the College Miss Majorette of American Pageant. This means Katie is ranked 2nd in the country among the elite college baton twirlers. She has been in the top 10 for her entire baton twirling career and has nor reached the top 5.
Katie received invitation to represent the United States at the Grand Prix competition next August. This prestigious event is being held in Limoges, France August 9 - 11, 2019. Katie will be traveling as an official team member. She is extremely excited and honored to be selected for this opportunity.
This past June at the North Atlantic Regional competition, Katie won the title of “2018 College Miss Majorette of the North Atlantic” which was held at Beaver Community College. She placed first in all three divisions – Modeling, Strut and Solo for this competition. She also won the Advance Regional Strut competition for 2018.
