ADULT MARCH PROGRAMS

The Ukulele Club meets every Monday in the program room with beginners' lessons @ 10 a.m. with instructor Peggy Krall and a jam session @ 10:30 - noon.   Bring your own ukulele and your enthusiasm!  

The Library will sponsor a Beginner’s Genealogy workshop on Saturday, March 12 from 3-5 p.m., presented by Teena Hintz.  The workshop will consist of an hour of research tips and recommended websites and an hour of uninterrupted computer time with access to ancestry.com during the Library’s after hours.

In recognition of National Women’s History Month, the library will present the award winning film, Wonder Women!: The Untold Story of American Superheroines, on Wednesday, March 30 at 7 p.m.  The video follows the comic book heroine, Wonder Woman from her origin in the 1940s to the present and shows how popular representations of women in the media often reflect society’s anxieties about strong women.
