Just Pin It: An Introduction to Pinterest
Do you have a hobby that you used to enjoy but you've run out of ideas? You would love Pinterest!
If you are in search of inspiration for remodeling ideas, decoration projects, crafting brilliance, or snarky one liners then Pinterest is the place to be. Need an introduction to the website? If you answer "Yes," then this free Introduction to Pinterest Class is for you.
Pinterest is a website full of virtual pin boards organized by theme (events, interests, hobbies, etc). You can view image collections "pinned" by other users at this photo sharing website. We will show you how to create a Pinterest account, how to search for themed pinboards, how to pin your own images, how to re-pin images, and how to create your own themed pinboard. First we'll meet in the activities room to just take a look at the website itself, then we'll migrate to the patron computers and get you signed up for your own Pinterest account.
Class size is limited to 4 people per class, and you must register in order to attend this free class by calling us at 724-258-5409. The class will be offered on Tuesday, March 17 at 5:30 p.m. and Thursday, March 26 at 5:30 p.m.
