Library News

West Newton Library announces the following summer events:

West Newton Library, located at 124 N. Second St.. West Newton is accepting donations of hardcover books fiction and non fiction and large print no older than 10 years from publication date for our September book sale and jewelry donations for our next year's sale. Drop donations at the library, open Monday & Thursday, 12-6 p.m. and Wednesday, 12-8 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. No encyclopedias, Bibles or college and school books please.

The West Newton library is also having a great summer with a lot of activities and even more planned for the fall. We will be having our annual tea in September and another surprise book sale. The library would like to make sure everyone knows you can now check out e-books through our library.

The library is also actively looking for volunteers to help at the library, so if you are interested, please give us a call at 724-972-3229.
