Health

Cornerstone Care’s “Dancing with a Pink Ribbon” Project will be providing free breast cancer screenings on its mobile medical unit at the Mon Valley YMCA Women’s Health Fair on Monday, October 5th from 3 – 7 p.m.

“Dancing with a Pink Ribbon” provides women age 40 and over with free clinical breast exams conducted by a medical professional. The project also assists the uninsured and underinsured in obtaining a free or low-cost mammogram. “Dancing with a Pink Ribbon” provides education and outreach to men and women about the importance of early detection and prevention of breast cancer – it is a program made possible with funding provided by Susan G. Komen, Pittsburgh.

Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Both insured and uninsured are encouraged to attend. To schedule an appointment or to obtain more information about the project, please contact Christina Livingston at 724-705-3195 or by email at clivingston@cornerstonecare.com.
