Gene Lofink Heating and Air Conditioning has been operating from Charleroi since 1971, and has been a Trane Independent Dealer since 1986. Gene Lofink is now joined by his grandson, Cody Hawk, who has seven years' experience and is factory-trained.

The mission of Meals on Wheels of Peters Township is to provide a hot, nutritious meal to anyone who has difficulty shopping for food or cooking meals, regardless of income.

Dr. Lisa Lusk established the Animal Hospital in 1996, then located on Van Voorhis Lane in Monongahela. Working hard in a small location was difficult. With the help of family, friends and a supportive staff, Dr. Lusk pursued her dream and opened the larger facility on Hazelkirk Road in Monongahela in January of 2002.
