In 1955, Ferdie and Janis Rach purchased Redds Beach and started out on a sixty year career in providing recreational activities for the area residents.

Redds Beach is now called Pine Cove Beach Club and is operated by Ferdie and Janis’ son and his wife, Jim and Connie Rach. Recently, the Fallowfield Township supervisors - Wilbur Caldwell, Bruce Smith, and Earl Sadler - presented a plaque to the Rach family, honoring their 60 years of business and providing memories for all age groups over the years.
