If you search Google for teaching jobs in Pittsburgh, the first result you'll see is PghEduJobs.com, a free site run by West Mifflin resident Andrew Miller. Miller, a former teacher, created the website three years ago, building on his own experience in the job search.
Unlike other websites of its type, PghEduJobs does not charge users for its services. "Finding a teaching job in the Pittsburgh area is hard enough," Miller said, "without the added expense of subscribing to a job search website. I think teachers deserve to do it at no cost."
The website, which aggregates job postings by local school districts, had over 200,000 page views this month.
