The GRC held a ribbon cutting for Reveal Yourself Facial Salon by Dani D on Thursday, July 10. Located at 158 Tri County Lane, Suite 2, Belle Vernon (Crossroads Building), the salon is owned and operated by Danielle DiPietrantonio, a certified licensed esthetician/skin care specialist.

Dani became passionate about skin care after living in Arizona for 12 years, where the weather takes a toll on your skin and the extreme heat and cold are both hard on the skin.

In a world where almost everything we eat, drink or use on our bodies contains chemicals or additives, Dani wanted to offer skin care that is free of those additives. After extensive research and numerous conversations with representatives, she chose a product called hylunia. This product has been used in exclusive salons primarily on the west coast for 25 years, combing mind, body and beauty scientifically. Hylunia is vegan, paraben, gluten and cruelty-free.

Products with hylunia are developed to reduce inflammation, which is what causes most skin conditions. Products are available for even those suffering from excessive dry skin from cancer treatments. Different facials and products are formulated and available for all skin types. In addition, aromatherapy with essential oils is part of the system that combines Eastern wisdom with Western science that relaxes the mind and body to truly "unmask the beauty within."

The salon will also be offering UV-free organic and natural airbrush spray tanning by Norvell. This product is also vegan, paraben and gluten-free. It's not just a tan; it's a skin treatment, for a just-off-the-beach look.
