The Lincoln Elementary School in West Elizabeth has been revitalized into The Shoppes at Historic Lincoln Square which will begin to house a variety of shops and much more. One of the businesses leading the way is the Haven Boutique, a charming boutique that owner, Ashley Delgado, describes as “a curated boutique experience with lower than thrift prices.” Almost everything inside the shop is under $10.
Delgado is new to the West Elizabeth community and after moving to the town she found the Historic Lincoln Square to be a prime spot to open her boutique. The charm of the old school adds the character of a cozy town and the ambiance inside the Haven Boutique brings that character to life.
Inside the Haven boutique, shoppers can explore a variety of products, including clothing, purses, shoes, scarves, and jewelry. The boutique also offers aromatherapy products such as hand-poured scented candles and scented rice bags. For a day of pampering, there are scented goat milk soaps, bath bombs, and bath salts.
The shelves are lined with glazed pottery items like mugs, bowls, vases, dishes, trays, and ashtrays. Additionally, shoppers can find Unpaper towels, books, magnets, and greeting cards. The boutique also features wall art and mirrors, perfect for adding a touch of beauty to your home decor.
Inside Haven Boutique, shoppers will discover "Andi’s House of Plants," which Delgado describes as “a shop inside a shop.” Here, you'll find a variety of plants for homes and businesses. Shoppers can also meet with the owner for expert plant care tips, purchase plant care kits, and even arrange for in-home plant consultations if they're struggling with plant care at home.
When visiting Haven Boutique, Delgado can share more about her plans to introduce a farmer’s market to the community. Additionally, she accepts donations of new and gently used clothes and products, offering $1 of in-store credit for each accepted item. They are open Thursday and Friday from 10:00AM – 5:00PM, Saturday from 11:00AM – 6:00PM, and on Sundays from 12 noon – 4:00 PM. On Tuesday nights at 7:30, Delgado can be found live on Facebook for a night of virtual shopping!
