Steve Shearson, commercial structuring manager, Centrica Business Solutions, was elected to the Board of Directors of Mon-Vale Health Resources, Inc. (MVHR). A 32-year veteran of the energy industry, Mr. Shearson brings his extensive business knowledge and leadership skills to the MVHR board.

Mr. Shearson is a lifelong resident of Rostraver Township and a 1980 graduate of Belle Vernon Area School District. He earned a B.S. in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an M.S. in Environmental Science and Management from Duquesne University.
MVHR is the parent company of Monongahela Valley Hospital (MVH) and various other businesses that provide health care services and medical products. In addition to MVH, units include the Mon Valley Care Center, Residence at Hilltop, Valley Outpatient Rehabilitation, Monongahela Valley Hospital HealthPlex, California Imaging, Rostraver Imaging and Monongahela Medical Supply Company as well as ambulatory surgery centers, a physician hospital organization and physician practice management services.
