Annual Awards Event Set for September 7
The Mon Valley Regional Chamber will honor its finest at Monongahela Valley Hospital’s Anthony Lombardi Education Conference Center on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at its annual Awards Event.

“The Chamber has recognized outstanding individuals and business since 1921,” said Deb Keefer, Executive Director. “And in 2017 we look forward to once again joining together to celebrate excellence, personal commitment, and community pride.”
This year’s award recipients are:
• Shining Star Award - Deborah Buck, Audrey’s Custom Draperies
• Excellence in Business - Dr. Umberto DeRienzo, Jr. and DeRienzo Family Practice
• Outstanding Business Development - Prima Diva Boutique, Daneen Troup, owner
• Regional Service Award - The Harvest Bounty Program at Charleroi Area School District
The reception style event begins at 5:30 pm with the award ceremonies beginning at 6:30 pm. Chamber members received invitations in the U.S. mail, however the public is invited to attend and may call the Chamber at 724-483-3507 to arrange for their reservation. Registration cost is $30.00 per person and can also be purchased on line at the Chamber’s website at www.mvrchamber.org. Space will be limited so early RSVP’s are encouraged and there will be no on site registration.

The Harvest Bounty Program at the Charleroi Area School District will be awarded the Chamber’s “Regional Service Award.” A host of teachers, staff and donors has made this weekend food program available to students in need. Founder Jane Staranko and Kathy Franks will be among those acknowledged for the tireless work and fundraising that makes Harvest Bounty possible. |
