The Mon Valley Academy for the Arts, a new arts and culture organization serving the Mon Valley, announces their next big event in the ongoing Twin Coaches Orchestra Project (TCOP), “A Night at the Coaches,” to be held on Sunday, November 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Belle Vernon Area High School Auditorium, 425 Crest Ave., Belle Vernon.

Experience “A Night at the Coaches” with this evening of entertainment. Celebrating some of the great music of the past, the night will include live performances by some of the area’s best, including members of the Twin Coaches Orchestra, Joe Campus 12-piece band, featured vocalists including Charleroi Area outstanding student Maddie Codeluppi, and regional favorites Alice Richards and Frank and Tom Paterra.
Additionally, the Bell Vernon Area Middle School Band will open the evening and special guests will join in the celebration of the music, dance and more. The $25 ticket price covers the cost of this amazing concert and includes a Chinese auction and more. All proceeds from the event support the cultural and educational programs of the MVAA, and a portion of all ticket sales will be donated back to the Belle Vernon Charitable Fund, a fund administered by the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County

This event is part of Phase 1 of MVAA programming’s Twin Coaches Orchestra Project (TCOP). TCOP was established in November of 2015 as a part of the ongoing musical and educational career of project founder and co-director Mark A. Smith, renowned drummer. TCOP’s long-term goals include preserving the history of music, putting artists to work, and providing education and entertainment to a multi-cultural and multi-generational public.
