The Monessen City Park Amphitheater Committee will host its free July events at Monessen Amphitheater. All summer events are sponsored in part by Laurel Highlands Visitor's Bureau.
The 2nd annual battle of the bands will feature three local bands; a winner will be chosen by a panel of judges. The battle of the bands will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at 2 p.m.
The 4th Annual Monessen Summer in the Park will be held on Sunday July 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. This event will feature music by Michael Christopher and Andy Gregg. Vendors and food will also be available for the audience's enjoyment.
