Domestic violence is a leading cause of injury to women. Many women face domestic violence issues every day, and they don't have to do it alone. There is help available.


Plans are going very well for our 1st Annual Taste of the Town food event scheduled for Sunday, March 22 at Rostraver Central Fire Hall. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the event will run until 5 p.m.


Steve Arnowitz is serving his third term as president of the Rotary Club of Charleroi. He has been an active member of the club since 2007.


The Steel Valley Rotary Club's 15th Annual Dinner Dance will take place at St. John's Hall, 210 Greentree Rd. in Munhall on Saturday, March 28, featuring Jimmie Sapienza and Five Guys Named Moe.


A volunteer work day will be held the first Saturday of each month at the Mantle House Mission starting Saturday, March 7 at 9 a.m. Anyone over 14 years of age is welcome. No experience is needed and lunch will be provided. Please call ahead if you are able to volunteer on this Saturday, or any of the following Saturday volunteer work days at 724-872-7119.
