Craft and Vendor Auction May 5 at South Hills Elks

The Pittsburgh South Hills Elks Lodge 2213 will be holding a Dinner Dance on Saturday, April 20 from 5:00PM – 10:00PM.   Cost is $25.  Dinner includes filet mignon, baked potato, and salad.  Dinner will be served from 5:00PM – 7:00PM with the dance to follow.  (Cost for Dance only is $10 Each).  Cash Only (ATM Available).  RSVP by April 15.  Call 412-831-0616.  The Pittsburgh South Hills Elks Lodge 2213 is located at 2789 South Park Road, Bethel Park PA 15102.

Monongahela Senior Center is having an Easter Dinner on April 5 from1:00PM – 4:00PM.  There will be an $8 admission fee to cover Easter Dinner, drinks, snacks, DJ, games with prizes, door prize, 50/50, and tip boards!  Please stop in to sign up or just give Mickelina a call at the Senior Center at 724-258-9511.   The Monongahela Senior Center is located at 102 West Main Street in Monongahela.

The Application deadline is April 13 for students applying for the $1,500 Valley Garden Club scholarship to assist students pursuing an education in the study of horticulture, agriculture related fields, landscape architecture/design, botany, plant pathology, forestry, agronomy, environmental concerns, city planning, land management.  The scholarship will be awarded for the full academic year and will be given directly to the student to further his or her education.  Students are asked to visit their guidance counselor for application information.  No financial information is needed to apply for this scholarship.
