The Foster House II Restaurant located at One Cook Road in Belle Vernon, will be holding a fundraising event for Mon Valley Paws on March 18 from 5:00PM – 10:00PM. The fundraiser will consist of a basket auction, (bring a pet food donation for a free chance to win the basket), eat in or dine out (a portion of proceeds from dining will be donated to Mon Valley Paws), call ahead for take outs at 724-929-7679. The California United Methodist Church is hosting it's free monthly "Wonderful Wednesday" dinner on March 6, at 6:00PM. Bring a friend and join us at 227 Third Street, California, PA 15419. Cokesburg Presbyterian Church, located at 100 Washington Street in Cokesburg, PA, will be hosting a Chicken and Biscuits dinner on March 13, from 11:00AM - 6:00PM. West Newton Library's 7th Annual ‘Super Gift Basket Raffle’ will be held on Sunday March 10, at the Turkeytown VFD, located at 90 Supervisors Drive in West Newton. Basket drawings begin at 2:30pm. You must be present to accept your prizes or give your tickets to a friend to present them for you. There will be Tip Boards of Chance, a 50/50 raffle, and Presidents Choice for upper tier prizes and our volunteers have been busy making baskets, baskets, baskets. We are also accepting donations of baskets and using our telephone number you can make arrangements to drop them off.
