Have you seen the restored Nevin Shelter in South Park? How about the Cascades?  Did you hear about plans for a Paul Riis multi use trail or restoration of the Edgebrook Shelter? Have you noticed removal of invasive species from the pond on Maple Springs Drive and all the new trees popping up throughout our park?

If you would like to learn about the above as well as other projects happening in South Park, please attend the March 20 meeting of the South Park Woman’s Club, where Barbara Brewton, Institutional Giving and Project Manager for the Allegheny County Parks Foundation and Carolyn Savikas, Chair of the Friends of South Park, the County Park will be our guest speakers.

The meeting starts at 7:00 PM at the Twp. Community Center Bldg. across from Bavarian Village.  Besides speakers and a business meeting, refreshments will be provided by club members that night.  Women from surrounding communities are welcome to join South Park Women’s Club that evening, if they wish.
