The City of Monessen has announced its annual activities for Halloween, throughout the month of October.  The Monessen Halloween parade will return this year in Downtown Monessen. The Parade will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, October 21, with the lineup beginning at 6:30pm.  The parade will be open to anyone wishing to participate. Vehicles and organizations are welcome. The lineup will begin on Wendell Ramey Lane and will travel through Downtown Monessen, and will stop at the Mon Valley EMS Building. The event is being coordinated by Castle Blood, a haunted attraction in Monessen. 

 

Monessen's City-Wide Trick or Treat will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and the 8th Annual ‘Trunk or Treat’ will be held from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at Monessen City Park Walking Track.  In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at the park's upper parking lot off of Euclid Drive. The Trunk or Treat is being sponsored by the Monessen Amphitheater Committee, Monessen Community Development Corporation, and the Monessen Recreation Board.
