February was another busy month for the Charleroi Rotary Club. Laura Koon and Alyssa Mendola were officially inducted into Rotary on February 10. Diann Donaldson sponsored Miss Mendola and Colleen Arnowitz sponsored Mrs. Koon. The induction ceremony was conducted by Secretary John Helfenstein, who welcomed the new members.

Washington County, Pennsylvania, which drives the Greater Pittsburgh Region in energy production and commercial development, continues to increase its leadership position among Southwestern Pennsylvania counties in terms of economic growth and job creation.

The Valley Inn Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary is sponsoring a golf outing on May 22, 2016 at Butler's Golf Course in Elizabeth, PA with a shotgun start at 2 p.m.
