St. Damien of Molokai Council 2600 of Knights of Columbus is conducting a shoe drive until November 30 to raise funds for Madonna Catholic Regional School. The Knights of Columbus will earn funds based on the total weight of the pairs of gently worn, used and new shoes collected, as Funds2Orgs will issue a check for the collected shoes. Those dollars will benefit the school.

Bill is installing an honor roll for veterans from Finleyville and Union Township. The proposed location is Union Township Veterans Memorial Park in Finleyville on Brownsville Road.
During the month of December, the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum will be hosting their Trolleys and Toy Trains event. It will be held on Fridays, December 1, 8 and 15 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Visitors of this event will be able to ride on our decorated trolleys and to view the Lionel toy train layout.
