The Peters Creek Historical Society welcomes 2018 with its first meeting on Monday, February 26, 7:30 p.m., at the social room of Wrights United Methodist Church, 788 Venetia Road, Venetia.

The Friends of South Park will be holding an oldies dance on Saturday, March 24 from 7-11 p.m. at the Home Economics Building in South Park.

California University of Pennsylvania will be tuned in to next month’s Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, where alumnus Matt Antoine will represent Team USA as a member of the men’s skeleton team. Antoine, class of 2009 and a 2014 bronze medalist, is preparing to make his second Olympic appearance.
