Attention, golfers! Are you looking to play golf when you want to, without being tied down playing in a league? Check out this traveling golf group.
This golf group is not a league. It is set up so that you can play whenever you want to play. You pick the day and course that you want to play. All you have to do is sign up a week in advance, when you want to play. The teams will be picked each outing. You will be notified by e-mail or a phone call to let you know the tee times. To help defray the green fee and the cart cost, we will use the Cancer Book ($30) and the Players Pass Book ($20) as well as senior discounts.
The membership fee is $25. You will get a complete season schedule with the dates, courses, green fee and phone number of each course. You will also get the phone number and address of each golfer in the group. You will get a handicap index card with your handicap after 10 plays. We had 42 golfers in the group last year.
