The Belle Vernon Swim Club (BVSC) is a competitive swim team that has been swimming at the Belle Vernon High School Pool for over 35 years. BVSC offers programs for children living in Belle Vernon and over 20 surrounding mid-Mon Valley communities to promote the sport of swimming.

The Club is comprised of swimmers between the ages of 5-17 years old and is committed to promoting healthier living through increased aquatic activity and life-saving learn-to-swim instruction. The Club provides swim groups to fit all levels of swim experience, from beginner to advanced.
The Club will once again be offering a two-week learn-to-swim course Monday-Thursday, April 4-7 and April 11-14. Registration is open to all children ages 4-12. Students will be grouped by ability. There will be two sessions to choose from: 6 - 6:45 p.m. or 7 - 7:45 p.m. Please mark your calendars; because space is limited, please enroll early. Registration will be held at the Belle Vernon Area High School Cafeteria from 6 – 7 p.m. on March 23, 24, 28, 29 or 30. The cost for the two week course is $75 per child. A certificate will be issued to each child upon completion of the two-week learn-to-swim course.
The Club will begin registration for the upcoming summer 2016 season under the direction of Collegiate Division 1 swimmer Head Coach Matt Ramey. The Belle Vernon Swim Club is a competitive swim team that participates in the Chestnut Ridge Swim League. The Club is a Certified USA Swim Club and competes in AMS/USA swim meets as well as YMCA Invitational Swim Meets. The summer season will begin on May 2, 2016 and is open to all children.
The goal of the Club is to provide a swim program where each child can achieve their full potential in the sport of swimming. Swimming is a lifetime sport and great form of exercise that can be done at any age. If you are interested in joining the summer team, please attend registration at the Belle Vernon Area High School Cafeteria from 6 – 7 p.m. on March 23, 24, 28, 29 or 30.
