On Wednesday, October 14, 2015, Charleroi High School Lady Cougar's soccer took first place in Section 2-A championship (13-0-1, 14-1-2). This is the team’s second consecutive year of taking first place in section champs.

The hard work and determination of all players and coaches have been the reason for this team’s success.
Head coach Jim Rue has been coaching Charleroi's Lady Cougar soccer for six years. On September 14th, 2015, he, along with two assistant coaches, Traci Fleming and Tracy Day, and the team, celebrated his 200th career win; the team won against Beth Center.
