Congratulations to the Woods of Jefferson Hills for their fifth victory in the Borough of Jefferson Hills annual softball tournament!

The tournament was sponsored by the Recreation Board and was held on Sunday, August 23 at 885 Andrew Reilly Memorial Park in Jefferson Hills. They beat Inglewood, Pleasant Hills in the finals 17-3. Seven local teams competed in the tournament.
This year, proceeds from the softball tournament will go to the David Sippey family. Mr. Sippey was killed in a freak highway mishap while on his way with his family to their vacation in South Carolina.
