State Rep. Bill Kortz, D-Allegheny, announced that the 2015 Pennsylvania trout stocking schedules are now available for pickup in his constituent service offices, 751 Pittsburgh-McKeesport Blvd. and 5101 Old Clairton Road.
Trout season officially opens statewide at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 18. Fishing licenses are required. Information on the appropriate licenses is available at the Fish and Boat Commission website at www.fishandboat.com/license.htm.
The state is also continuing with the Mentored Youth Fishing Days program this year. The date has been set for April 11. More information on the Mentored Youth Fishing Days program and all other questions about fishing in Pennsylvania can be found at www.fishandboat.com.
