Westmoreland County Community College will hold a Baseball Coaching Clinic from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 3 at the WCCC Youngwood Campus gymnasium.
Sponsored by the college's Wolfpack Baseball team, the clinic is designed to provide coaches of youth teams with the necessary knowledge and skills to run effective and efficient baseball practices. The clinic will address throwing, catching, pitching, hitting, infield and outfield play, bunting, base running and practice organization.
Former Oakland A's and Milwaukee Brewers manager Ken Macha will be the guest speaker.
The cost is $40 per coach. Group pricing of $250 is available and allows all coaches from one league or organization to attend.
