Pine-Richland Rams All-American Lacrosse Player is the Daughter of Two Ringgold Graduates

Marina Miller lives in the north hills suburb of Wexford and is a nationally ranked, senior midfielder for the Pine-Richland Rams girl’s lacrosse team. Her parents were once “Rams” of a different color, donning the blue and gold of the Ringgold Rams, right here in the mon valley.

Marina is the daughter of Greg Miller (Ringgold class of 1987) and Carey (Balog) Miller (Ringgold class of 1988). Ringgold has never had a lacrosse team, so it is a sport that Greg and Carey never had the opportunity to play in high school. But their daughter, Marina is a natural, and has excelled at the sport since a young age.

Marina is the Pine-Richland girl’s lacrosse all-time career goal leader with 235 goals and she helped lead her team to their first ever WPIAL title in 2017. She is a two-time All-American; three-time All-Section and All-WPIAL; a two-time Varsity Captain; and has been named to the U.S. Lacrosse High School National Team three times for Western PA. Inside Lacrosse Magazine recently ranked Marina Miller as the 39th best high school senior in the country. When she was just a freshman, Marina made a verbal commitment to play lacrosse for Penn State University, and just recently signed her official Letter of Intent. She plans to study psychology and criminology.

In addition, Marina joined the Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse Club staff and is in her 2nd year as a C.I.T (Coach In Training) with Premier's 2021 and 2024/25 Teams.
Marina is the granddaughter of Cindy and the late Dave Miller of New Eagle, and granddaughter of Sheila and the late Terry Balog of Finleyville.
