High handicappers were paired with low handicappers to make two-person teams for the annual 18-Hole Women’s Ryder Cup at Youghiogheny County Club recently.

Maureen Fiore and Lynn McHolme edged their competitors by two strokes. Tying for second place were teams of Lynn Cherny and Penny Natale, and Jane Marino and Angie Piesik.
The 27-hole event consisted of a different format for each of three nine holes: Better ball of partners, alternate shots, and a scramble.
