The U-10 Venom Baseball team had a successful month of July, winning one tournament, and advancing far in another.

The U-10 Venom Baseball Team

During the weekend of July 1 -3, the Venom captured the championship of the BCL 10u B tournament by defeating South Park 12-1 in the championship game. Later in the month, during the weekend of July 15 – 17, the Venom advanced all the way to the semifinals of the Mt. Lebanon 11u tournament before falling to Bethel Park. The U-10 Venom Baseball team comprised of 8, 9, and 10 year olds was just two outs away from a championship game in an 11 year old tournament. This was quite an accomplishment, and bodes very well for the future of this up and coming travel baseball program.

Open tryouts for the 2017 Venom 10, 11, 12, and 13 year old teams will be held at the Bianco School of Baseball on August 6, from 9:00 – 11:00 am. If interested in trying out, or if you have any questions, please email venombaseball15301@gmail.com
