Several partner agencies of United Way’s Open Your Heart to a Senior initiative need volunteers.
Volunteers in all Allegheny County communities are needed year-round to transport seniors to medical appointments or to do shopping in the volunteer’s own vehicle. Volunteers can also do light yard, deliver meals, or help at senior centers. The number one volunteer service request by seniors in Allegheny County is a ride to the doctor. Do you have an hour a week or month to help?
