Seniors

The 29th annual Senior Games, sponsored by the Southwestern PA Area Agency on Aging will be held at the Waynesburg Central High School in Greene County on June 17.

"Energy For Life" is the theme for this year's games, which will begin with an Opening Ceremony at the Raiders Stadium starting at 9:30 am. The ceremony will include the Parade of Athletes and a surprise special event!

The SWPA Area Agency on Aging serves older adults in Washington, Fayette and Greene Counties as well as the Mon Valley. Everyone over the age of 50 years is invited to participate as an athlete, spectator or volunteer. The Greene County Senior Games Task Force is planning for approximately 700 participants.
