Whether you're looking to save money on your car insurance premiums or just need to brush up on your driving skills, AAA East Central's Mature Driver classes can help. In each class, experienced AAA safety advisors focus on helping older drivers stay on the road longer and safely. Mature driver classes cover such topics as recognizing vision changes, communicating with other drivers, adjusting speed, handling emergencies and understanding driving laws.
To qualify for Pennsylvania's auto insurance discount, first-time students are required to take 8 hours of classroom instruction, divided into two 4-hour sessions. After that, students can renew their insurance discount every three years with a one-day, 4-hour refresher course.
