The West Newton Senior Center is offering the following upcoming bus trips.   All tours include tips, bus and lunch. Your full payment is your reservation. Mail payments to: West Newton Senior Center, 103 E. Main St, West Newton, PA 15089. Refund offered only if you replace yourself. All trips depart from the parking lot behind Giant Eagle, Robertson St., West Newton.   For more information, call Lou Ann at 724-872-4976.
 
 
September 14 – Amish Ohio
Our Ohio Amish Trip for September 14 still has some seats available. Final payment is due by September 6. We will travel to Burton, Ohio and tour the Historical Century Village restored by the Historical Society, the Log Cabin for maple syrup, lunch at Welshfield Inn, then on to Chardon for a tour of Fowlers Mill and Store.   The last stop will be at the oldest general store in Mesipotamia where you can shop and enjoy a free ice cream.  Cost $90.
 
October 12 – Bedford Festival
On October 12, come join us for a tip to Bedford, PA for the Annual Bedford Festival.  Departing in the morning at 7:00 a.m., we will first enjoy a lovely breakfast at Scottdale, Carson’s Catering, a leisurely ride to hopefully enjoy the Fall leaves to Bedford, shop at all the stores, homes and churches, enjoy tasting food, depart 1:00 p.m. for Bedford Historic Village, self tour until 2:30 p.m., board the bus for a return to Mt. Pleasant PA, Sand Hills Berries, for pie and ice cream and walk across the small wooden bridges to Green Dance Winery for wine tasting. We will depart for home when all are ready.  Cost is $65.
